Description
Wenshu, also known as Manjushri, is a prominent Bodhisattva in Buddhism that represents wisdom through action. His name, often translated as “Gentle Glory,” “Sweetly Glorious,” or “The Beautiful, Virtuous Lord,” reflects his association with wisdom and enlightenment.
He is often depicted with a sword and a book, symbolizing his ability to cut through ignorance and impart teachings. Manjushri is also associated with the development of wisdom, the guidance of others on the path to enlightenment, and the overcoming of obstacles.
