In Christianity, this is a medallion commemorating the appearance of Mother Mary in the Mexican town of Juan Diego. The image itself is enshrined within the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, one of the most visited sites by Christians in the world. The words of the medallion read “Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe” which translate to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
