Description
Liu Bei courtesy name Xuande who founded the state of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period and became its first ruler. He is widely known as an ideal benevolent, humane ruler who cared for his people and selected good advisers for his government. He was a salutary example of a ruler who adhered to the Confucian set of moral values, such as loyalty and compassion. In Three Kingdoms, he is often known as Guan Yu and Zhang Fei’s eldest oath brother. This master piece is designed by a well-known Japanese designer, Kimiya Masago, who is one of the best designers from Koei!
This statue is part of the collection featuring Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Zhuge Liang, Zhao Yun, Lu Bu and Diao Chan! Liu Bei is best paired with his sworn brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.
刘备, 字玄德, 汉景帝之子中山靖王刘胜的后代, 是三国时期汉国的开国皇帝, 以继承中原皇族汉统自居。他重德尚义, 礼贤下士, 宽厚博怀, 重情义。黄巾起义时, 刘备与关羽, 张飞桃园结义, 为异姓兄弟。赤壁之战前夕, 刘备在荆州三顾茅庐, 请诸葛亮出山辅助, 在赤壁之战中, 联合孙权打败曹操, 奠定了三分天下的基础。刘备在诸葛亮的帮助下占领荆州, 不久又进兵益州, 夺取汉中, 建立了横跨荆益两州的政权。
