Description
In Egpytian culture, Horus is the god of the sky, and the son of Osiris. Horus is usually depicted as a falcon, or as a falcon-headed man, leading to Horus’ name, (in Egyptian, Heru), which meant “The distant one”.
This is a lovely pair of bookends perfect to add that Egyptian theme to your study! A statue of Horus stands tall on either side, ready to guard your treasured reading material. Mysterious Egyptian hieroglyphs decorate the reverse side of each bookend. Both sides are included in one set!
